CCTV

When it comes to CCTV it is good to have many options to suit your needs. Depending on your needs and house we can install the system that is best suited to you. We have become familiar with many systems to be sure we can give you the best one for you needs.

Systems we use -

  • Ring
  • Blink
  • Arlo
  • Ubiquiti
  • Hikvision
  • Tiandy
  • Reolink

Wi-Fi and Network

These days it's vital to have a solid Network inside you house, if you work from home and need a solid connection or you've got kids sucking up all the bandwidth playing Xbox and you can't stream Netflix, a solid network and Wi-Fi system can help. We are most familiar with Ubiquity, the system is reliable with a very competitive price. It has Wi-Fi roaming as a standard meaning your phone will automatically move to the closest access point so you always have the best signal available.

We have many options when it comes to Wi-Fi. We can get signal wherever you need it. So if even if you're at the back of the garden you'll still have Wi-Fi.

Smart Doorbells

When it comes to Smart Doorbells, for us, there are two options. Doorbird and Ring. They both have their own advantages and disadvantages. We will be able to pick the right one for you depending on your needs and possibilities.

The main difference is that Doorbirds units get their connection and power over an ethernet cable. This means there is no lag due to Wi-Fi and no worries about the battery loosing charge whilst you're on holiday! Doorbird also have inbuilt relays meaning you can open the gate remotely.

The Ring Doorbells are more versatile. Although they are all Wi-Fi based you can have a battery one so if you can't get a cable to the location it's not a problem. They do offer plug powered ones so if there is a plug socket close then no battery worries!

Multi-Room Audio

When it comes to Multi-Room audio there are so many options that it can be quite overwhelming. Once again we are here to help you pick the right one for you needs. If you've already got smart devices in your house (Lights, Plugs and Heating etc.) then you'll want to pick one of the Smart Assistants that work with them, Alexa, Google or Apple Home Pods. This will make your smart devices come alive and is a nice benefit to having Multi-Room audio and a Smart Assistant.

Sonos is a great option if you want an amazingly reliable system that's also versatile with it's options.

If you've already got speakers you can add in a Sonos Amp and carry on using them with the rest of the system.

If you want to add more punch to your TVs sound they have options for a sounds bars, subwoofers and you can add in two back speakers to become rear surround sound. They even offer external Speakers for your garden.

Heating

Smart Heating systems are very useful to have. Not only can you turn the heating on whilst you're away, so on your return the house is nice and warm, they also track your heating history showing you how much you've used it and the cost of it.

Whether you've got a single thermostat or a multi-room underfloor heating system we have options available. We mainly use Nest and Hive for single systems and Heatmiser for multi zone systems.

All three have an app that can be used to easily schedule your heating on/off to your desired temperature and boost the heating for a one off blast.

Gates & Access Control

Gates are a great deterrent for unscrupulous people looking to take what isn't theirs. But having manual gates it is easy to forget to lock them or even shut them! This is where the automatic gate motors come in. We have experience in many different types and brands.

We can install fresh and service already installed gate motors.

With automatic gates you can trigger them from a fob, so when you're driving up your road you can trigger the gates to open. (We recommend you don't leave the fob in the car!). Or you can combine it with a Doorbird system so if someone rings the bell you can open the gate remotely, allowing them access.

Doorbird can also use fobs and keypads to allow the gates to open. Useful for children, cleaners and family members to easily get through the gate.

Smart Lighting

Whether it's indoors or outdoors Smart Lighting is nice to have. It adds an extra level of security, if you're out later than expected, quickly jump on the app and turn a few lights on.

Having smart external lights means that they can light up your driveway or garden once the sun has set, meaning you will feel safe getting out the car at night time.

Or you can have it for some practical reasons like, when you open the door at night to let the dog out the garden lights turn on and you can see where the dog is.

But everyone's favourite is being able to turn off the lights off at the touch of one button. As you're leaving the house you can make sure all your lights are off and you're not wasting any electricity.
